Bootcamp

Brian offers an intensive three-hour workshop for senior managers wanting to kick start strategic thinking in high-pressure environments. Consisting of a journey through four engaging activities at different bases in a space, the process can be used with groups of up to 60 people in groups of six to eight. The four bases are as follows:

  • Identifying success and what it looks like. This takes place in a ‘gallery’ space that displays key pieces of evidence, what works and what others are doing. Participants respond to this on a graffiti wall.
  • Thinking differently. This space contains a reminder of the key challenges and constraints. Participants focus on what they must stop doing to create a space to respond, and what they should do differently.
  • Making progress. World café style exploration of the best ideas and risk management of them.
  • What’s next? Brian brings together all material from the previous bases and the group produces a short email for the senior team summarising what they have initiated and what needs to be done.

Having run a series of four themed strategic bootcamps for organisations with up to 200 senior managers, Brian is highly experienced in configuring the best process for your needs. Key strategic opportunities and risk areas are identified to produce an integrated plan, which is then used to maintain the future success of your teams and organisation.
